Car detailing, or auto detailing is a term that is used quite frequently nowadays and it can have different meanings to different People.

In the U.K the term ‘car valeting’ is more predominantly used to describe most car cleaning activities, with the term detailing, only fairly more recently being used to refer to a more thorough interior clean or to restore paintwork.

Interior Detailing

The reason for detailing on the interior of a vehicle is simply it needs more time or detail spent on a specific problem like spilt paint, mould, entwined dog hair or extremely dirty interiors that may require more time then a standard interior valet.

Exterior Detailing

The main area of detailing for the exterior of a vehicle is to fully enhance and restore the vehicles paintwork by eliminating light scratches, dull paint and swirl marks that have been caused over time. This will also remove bird poo residue and the damage it can cause due to it being corrosive

The paintwork correction process is through the use of a machine polisher and the combined use of a selection of abrasive polishing compounds with different grades of pads designed to remove defects.

We use a finishing compound on the paint surface which leaves a flawless hologram and swirl-free finish.

Finally we give it a HD polish to give your vehicles that showroom finish.

A minimum of 3 to 4 hours is usually required on a vehicles exterior,

We can paint pen touch up deep scratches that are too deep to remove through normal paint correction methods, we fill the scratches with paint and take off the overlapping paint off with a machine polisher.

This is a cheaper method then traditional spray painting but obviously not a flawless finish but it will lesson the damage, making it less visible.

We charge £30.00 per hour for this service

Depending on the amount & size of scratches will determine the time needed for this service. (for example one panel takes around an hour)
